Education 

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, Texas State and AAMFT approved supervisor, professor, researcher, and social justice advocate. I have over 10 years of clinical experience with diverse populations and disorders in a variety of clinical settings. I was previously the executive program consultant for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Marriage and Family Therapy Minority Fellowship Program. My research focuses on adolescents, Black mental health, and social justice in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy which is presented at local, regional, national, and international conferences.  I have been actively involved in my local and professional communities by serving on multiple boards and in various leadership positions.
